With over 15 years in the property management industry with a focus on accounting and office operations, Melissa has a strong knowledge base to assist our board members and association residents. She also brings an additional 10 years of banking and customer service experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois-Chicago. In her non-working hours, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking, biking, and watching movies and HGTV.  

Chael Wright-Isak

Chael Wright-Isak

Chael’s career experience provides a solid foundation for helping homeowners and boards navigate association living and responsibilities. Her background includes managing executive education programs for the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and managing Northwestern’s annual commencement ceremonies.  Recently, as President of her condo board, Chael guided and managed its complex deconversion process profitably for over 90 owners.  Chael holds a B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her interests include interior design, live music, and the local art scene.  

Eric Skalinder

A Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Eric builds trust-based relationships with all association stakeholders. Based on experience with over 100 diverse community associations in the Chicago metro area he shares thoughtful and deliberate guidance about all facets of management – from procedural details to maintenance and repairs to capital projects and long-term planning. Eric excels at consensus building and conflict resolution and he actually enjoys Robert’s Rules of Order. Outside of work Eric rides a motorcycle, gardens, sings in multiple ensembles, and conducts an a cappella choir

Tina Baer

Tina has a close connection to our north shore communities with experience as an Illinois licensed Realtor® for over eight years and in her role as a Community Association Manager. Prior to her career in real estate, Tina spent nearly twenty years in account service and project management in the promotion marketing industry for several Fortune 500 companies including Visa USA, Frito-Lay, Sara Lee Bakery and Kellogg Company. It is this foundation of managing clients and projects in high profile instances that helps guide her in this role. Tina also represents clients in the realty brokerage side of the company as a broker with NS Realty Group. A graduate of the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign she holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.

Ken Bertolucci

Ken’s background as a building owner, developer, community manager and entrepreneur provides a rich and diverse knowledge base to guide and advise our community association clients. As President of NS Management, Ken oversees company operations and assists with community associations that are facing difficult issues and major financial decisions. As a building owner and developer, Ken has directed the rehabilitation of multi-family properties that provide affordable housing to the community. He is the author of many articles published in industry-related publications and blog sites. Ken serves as an expert witness in condominium-related litigation matters and is a certified manager of community associations (CMCA), an Illinois licensed community association manager, and a graduate of California State University.

Marcel Brusca

With over 14 years of experience in association management, Marcel has handled all types of building issues from routine repairs to extensive capital projects. This includes replacement of key building components, fire damage reconstruction, and securing financing. Her background includes both portfolio and onsite management responsibilities. She maintains a positive, energetic approach and develops strong professional relationships with Boards, contractors, local businesses and residents. Marcel is an Illinois licensed community manager. Tamera Goodin


With over a decade of hospitality industry experience, Tamera applies her skills to address problems and find resolutions for our association residents. She has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on root cause analysis and developing innovative solutions. Tamera holds a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University, and management certificate from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. In her non-working hours, she enjoys spending time with her children and pets.

Natasha “Tash” Hough


With an extensive background in social service organizations as a crisis intervention and guidance counselor, Tash uses her strong interpersonal skills and calm demeanor to address the most challenging issues. Her attention to detail helps keep our real estate transaction process running smoothly. Tash has a degree in Social Work from Illinois State University. In her off-work hours she enjoys volunteering in the community, spending time with her family and keeping up with her three school-age children.

Ryan Kawa

Ryan applies the skills honed from his career in the hospitality industry to offer excellent customer service to our community association homeowners. He is a graduate of DePaul University, has completed the CMCA prerequisites for Community Association Managers and is finalizing the IL state licensing requirements. In his non-working hours, Ryan enjoys concerts, cheering for the Chicago Bulls, history themed books, movies, and video games. He also enjoys being a “pet parent” and interacting with his three canine companions.

Jillian Isola


With a degree from the Broad School of Business at Michigan State University, Jillian applies her hospitality industry training in service of our community associations. She has a keen eye for detail and hands-on management experience in hotel properties, making her well-prepared to address the needs of association boards and homeowners. In her off time, Jillian enjoys baking and practicing yoga.

Jessica Kim

Jessica brings a broad perspective to NS Management as a real estate managing broker, small business owner, and leasing manager. In addition to her community manager responsibilities, Jessica is the Managing Broker for NS Realty Group, our full-service real estate brokerage. As a community manager, she has a keen understanding of the importance of providing prompt service, establishing trust, and providing value to her association clients. Jessica is a certified manager of community associations (CMCA), an Illinois licensed community manager, and an IL licensed real estate managing broker. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Government and Politics. In her non-working hours, Jessica enjoys volunteering at her local church. Younsun Lee

Younsun brings a unique perspective to NS Realty Group, as both an IL licensed real estate broker and a licensed interior designer. She is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Master of Fine Arts in interior architecture. After completing her degree, Younsun joined VOA Associates Inc. as a designer of interior spaces. She now combines her interest in design and real estate to offer valuable insight and service to her brokerage clients.

Megan McConnell


Megan has several years of experience in real estate, both in sales as a real estate broker, and in all aspects of property management. Having managed apartment buildings, mixed-use buildings, and condominium associations, she has developed broad-based expertise and a strong knowledge of building operations. Megan and her husband have three daughters and spend most of their weekends and free time watching them compete in rowing regattas and lacrosse games. Megan is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago.

Carolyn Migala

  Carolyn joins NSM with seven years of experience at a leading residential property management company. With an additional background as a real estate broker, real estate/corporate paralegal, and administrative manager, Carolyn offers a well-rounded perspective to her association clients. Carolyn is a detail-oriented individual that exercises great care for the most efficient use of association funds and resources. Carolyn is a certified manager of community associations (CMCA), an Illinois licensed community association manager, has a B.A. degree from Tufts University and M.S. from Columbia University.

Anne Neumann

  Anne was introduced to the property management industry through her work with the residential division of a major Chicago-area property management company. Upon joining NSM, Anne utilized her expertise to help improve all facets of the operation and keep things running smoothly. Her responsibilities include development and implementation of efficient business practices, staff training, project management, real estate closings, and social media marketing. In her non-working hours, she volunteers as a dance instructor, chorographer, and studio co-manager. Anne holds an Associate degree in marketing from Oakton College.

Nicole Palmer


Nicole brings over a decade of property management experience to her role as Director of Community Association Management. In addition to managing a select group of key community associations, Nicole oversees a team of Community Managers, providing leadership, guidance and direction. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a joint specialist degree in Political Science and Philosophy, Nicole spent six years in Los Angeles in the property management field before returning home to Chicago. Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, baking, listening to live music, and cheering on the Cubs.

Minnie A. Porter


Minnie is a Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) in the state of Illinois. She has worked in the Property Management Industry for the last 13 years honing her excellent customer service and follow up skills. With a passion for helping others, Minnie spends her free time working with the homeless and those with severe mental challenges. She also enjoys walking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Rachel Rodriguez

Rachel joins the NS Management team bringing a tremendous amount of experience as a senior level manager in the hospitality industry. She has made the transition to community management and is effectively applying her vast skill set to her new role. Rachel is a motivated leader with experience in managing small to large interdepartmental teams. She is a problem solver who excels in time management and critical thinking, which enables key decision making in high stress environments. In Rachel’s free time, she enjoys taking her Pitbull, Ziggy, for long walks and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
